We are looking for a Social Media Manager who understands this difference and is excited to own social as a strategic function, not just a posting calendar.

The Role

As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for leading social media strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on role for someone who can think like a strategist, execute like an operator, and communicate like a consultant.

You will work closely with leadership, designers, and performance teams to ensure social content aligns with brand positioning, business objectives, and measurable outcomes.

This role requires strong judgment, taste, and accountability.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning
  • Develop platform-specific social media strategies aligned with each client’s business goals
  • Define content pillars, messaging frameworks, and posting cadence per brand
  • Translate broader marketing strategy into social-first execution
  • Identify growth opportunities through trends, audience behaviour, and performance data
Content Oversight and Execution
  • Own monthly content calendars from concept through publishing
  • Write high-quality captions that balance clarity, brand voice, and conversion intent
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to guide creative direction
  • Ensure consistency across tone, visuals, and messaging
  • Be able to provide organic growth reporting
  • Outreach to micro/mid-sized audience relevant influencers
  • Maintain high standards for brand alignment and polish
Platform Management
  • Manage Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok depending on client needs
  • Schedule, publish, and optimize content using approved tools
  • Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement where required
  • Community engagement and groups awareness
  • Stay current on platform updates and best practices
Analytics and Reporting
  • Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, saves, clicks, and growth
  • Analyze what is working and what is not, then adjust strategy accordingly
  • Prepare clear, client-ready performance summaries and insights
  • Tie social performance back to broader marketing objectives where possible
Client Communication
  • Confidently explain strategy, decisions, and results to clients
  • Manage feedback loops without compromising brand or strategic integrity
  • Proactively surface opportunities, risks, and recommendations
  • Represent Stegas professionally in all client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies
  • Proven experience handling multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Strong copywriting skills with an ability to adapt tone across industries
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn, with working knowledge of Facebook and TikTok
  • Experience building content calendars and strategic frameworks
  • Comfortable interpreting analytics and turning data into action
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Experience

  • Agency experience
  • Experience working with service-based businesses or professional firms
  • Familiarity with performance marketing concepts and funnels
  • Experience collaborating with designers and video teams
  • Understanding of brand architecture and positioning principles
  • Familiarity with North American and Australian markets
